Important Notice
The Steering/Search Committee made its formal proposal for making changes to the Constitution and ByLaws of the Golden Triangle Baptist Association in a meeting on Tuesday, January 24th at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church, Beaumont.
There will be a time of questions and discussion on Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30 pm at North End Baptist Church, Beaumont. Then the first vote will be taken at the Quarterly Meeting on Tuesday, February 7th, at 6:30 pm also at North End Baptist Church. The second required vote will be taken at the Quarterly Meeting on April 24th, location to be announced.
All messengers and churches should be represented. Please send your messenger list to yvonne@gtba.org, the Association clerk before February 7th.
The Constitution vote requires a 2/3 majority to pass on February 7th and a second 2/3 majority vote in April.
Please be present to vote for or against the proposal and keep the process in prayer.
