WMU Notes

By the time you read this the children will have returned to school. You may or may not be back into that routine. I do hope you have had a rewarding summer with your family.

Just a reminder that the Missions Banquet is set for September 16th, at Shepherd’s Inn. There will be much information you can receive from the representatives from both conventions who will be there. This is during the emphasis week for the Mary Hill Davis offering. I hope you and your church have set a goal worthy of Texas missions and that you have been able to reach that goal. Remember, too, that Mary Hill Davis supports the work of Texas WMU.

Our Fall Meeting is October 5th, at Liberty Baptist Church in Bridge City. We start at 6:30 and we are planning to install our new officers for this year as well as travel around the world through World Crafts. You will be receiving a mail out with more information on that so be looking for it.
