"The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding...  Nehemiah 2:20

Nehemiah's Vision is a non-profit organization made up of a group of lay businessmen. We have joined together to pray and seek God's guidance in providing assistance to families in Southeast Texas who have experienced physical damage to their homes resulting from Hurricane Rita. Nehemiah's Vision has recently been incorporated to conduct God's business.  We chose this name because we believe that our mission is similar to the mission God gave Nehemiah in restoring  the wall of Jerusalem.  We have prayed for several months to know God's will concerning this endeavor, just as Nehemiah prayed for several months about his mission.  We believe we have been commissioned by God, as was Nehemiah.

Our purpose is to provide volunteer services, procure materials, and make necessary repairs to the homes of families who have been displaced due to the recent disaster.  We will also provide spiritual encouragement to these displaced families during the re-establishment of their lives and homes.  In addition we will provide churches with volunteer services to help restore their facilities.  We will provide other support ministries associated with this mission.

Nehemiah's Vision is soliciting the help of Christian men and women across the association to join with us to serve God through this effort.  We believe God has called us to carry out this Kingdom work, which will bless Him and His children.
We have begun this work and encourage all to join us in the effort.
