There are many current mission projects available.

 

1)  You can help with Hurricane construction and rebuilding through Nehemiah's Vision

 

2)  You can help with local community disaster surveys (Contact Dion Ainsworth)

 

3.  You can volunteer to help at Shepherd's Inn Hospitality House

 

4.  You can volunteer to help at Calvary House Emergency homeless shelter (for families with children)

 

5.  You can volunteer to help at Opportunity Camp or help with donations

 

6.  You can join the Golden Triangle Baptist Association Disaster team

 

7.  Your church can become a Mission Ministry Learning Center to assist in mission projects from out of town church groups and teaching people how to evangelize and reach communities for Christ.  Contact Dion Ainsworth

 

8.  Your church can identify its primary mission field for the GTBA staff and develop methods to bring the gospel to each person in your primary mission field.

 

9.   There are many gaps in South East Texas were the gospel is not being presented and churches have shown little or no interest in reaching the residents.  Your church could adopt some of these secondary mission fields with the help of the GTBA office.

 

10. Help is needed to prepare boxes of medical supplies, books, clothing, etc. to be shipped to Zimbabwe to aid Sherrie Bumstead in her medical mission there. The warehouse is located in Kountze.
