 Buckets of Hope

Texas Baptist Men Disaster Relief 


TBMDR East Texas Area is requesting a maximum of 18 Volunteers each dayMonday through Friday
April 5 - 9th to help unload buckets from 18 wheelers into a storage warehouse in Shreveport, LA to await shipment to Haiti. 
 
The first 18 volunteers to respond by email to theTBM Volunteer Coordinator,Cookie Slate at    volunteers@tbmdr.net
will be added this volunteer project list.

Please include your phone number in your email.  You must Specify in your email  the following day(s) you will be able to volunteer.
(Don't just say "I am available...")
 
Monday April 5, 2010          9 am - 4 pm
Tuesday April 6, 2010          9 am - 4 pm 
Wednesday April 7, 2010    9 am - 4 pm
Thursday April 8, 2010         9 am - 4 pm
Friday April 9, 2010              9 am - 4 pm
 
Lunch is provided
 
Location of the Warehouse is in Shreveport, LA. You will be expected to supply your own transportation.  Cookie will share with you if there are others traveling from your location and are willing to share rides.

once you have been contacted and placed on the list to volunteer.Because the request is limited to 18 volunteers each day,
please let Cookie know if your plans change so that she can add someone else to the list in your place.

Register now at the GTBA office for the NOVA Disaster Response training. Includes crisis intervention and disaster intervention training. Starting on Thursday, September 23rd, and running for five Thursdays. Contact Dion Ainsworth for additional information.
