Saturday....June 12....4 pm.....Last night we handed out over 70 blankets and there were nearly 20 professions of faith. We will be following up on some of those decisions today and Sunday.
On Sunday we will attend a Baptism service in the river (the temp will be near freezing) then church services. AT 2 pm we have a Bible Study in Publeo Libre and make additional visits. Also on Friday the team was able to share in several school classes. Everyone is doing OK health wise. We leave Ayaviri at 6 am on Monday.
Thursday....June 10... 8:30 pm....Julie Wall is much better and working with the team. Thank you for praying. My classes with local pastors is going well. The final class will be on Friday. Tonight we handed out 53 blankets in Publeo Libre after they listen to a gospel presentation. We got names and address of each person. More than 100 people were in attendance, and 50 of them who did not get a blanket were invited to the church in La Rinconada to receive one, their names were put on a list. This will be another time of evangelism.
In the mean time the team has been making follow up visits and sharing with more people. Part of the team will present the gospel in a school class on Friday morning. Please continue to pray that all goes well, that people will be saved, and for our protection......Dion

Tuesday .... June 8.... 7:30 pm Julie Wall has high altitude sickness but is feeling better. She has been in bed all day. We think she can join activities on Wednesday. Please pray for her.
Dion had a good class today on church planting with pastors and church leaders. Session 2 will be Wednesday morning.
The rest of the team made follow up visits and secured some schools to teach in on Wednesday...and share Jesus. David Wingate was able to set up a Disc goft presentation for Wednesday. Good results. We also purchased over 150 blankets to give out with gospel presentations and a way to invite people to Bible studies.
There is a strike that started in Cusco. If we had been one day later in leaving we would have been trapped in the city. God provided. Remember to pray that it will be resolved before we leave Ayaviri next Monday.
The weather has been great. It is cold but not nearly as cold as last year...in fact very mild.... and nice.....We appreciate your prayers.
Monday - June 7 - 7:00 a.m. We arrived safetly to the Hotel in Lima with all of our luggage. The flight was hot and rough but otherwise OK. We leave shortly to return to the airport to fly to Cusco. From there we will meet a translator and van and then drive to Ayaviri. We should arrive in Ayaviri by 7 pm tonight. Please pray for a safe journey to Ayaviri today. We should be meeting with several people tonight as we prepare our to begin our mission work on Tuesday.
